Estudio C is an independent platform dedicated to artistic creation, research, and the development of projects in the field of contemporary art. We understand art as a space for experimentation and knowledge production, where each practice develops its own questions, methodologies, and ways of engaging with the world.

Our philosophy is grounded in respect for the singularity of each artistic process. We seek to create the conditions in which artists, researchers, and other cultural practitioners can develop their projects autonomously, explore new possibilities, and establish connections that enrich their practices.

We approach artistic accompaniment as a form of attentive listening and dialogue: being present without directing, facilitating without imposing, and fostering exchanges that allow each process to find its own direction. We are interested in encounters between practices, forms of knowledge, and contexts, as well as in building networks that encourage critical thinking, experimentation, and the circulation of ideas.

Estudio C brings together different areas of activity that connect artistic creation, research, education, and the dissemination of contemporary art.

• Artistic accompaniment. We offer spaces for dialogue, reflection, and ongoing exchange, tailored to the questions, needs, and methodologies of each artist.

• Research and creation residencies. We develop spaces for experimentation, production, and encounter that support artistic projects, the exchange of knowledge, and engagement with different contexts.

• Education and professional development. We develop educational programs, seminars, and pedagogical initiatives that encourage critical thinking, strengthen artistic practices, and support the professional development of artists and cultural practitioners. We also design art curricula and academic programs for diverse educational contexts.

• Gallery and curatorial projects. We support the production and public presentation of artistic projects through exhibitions, curatorial research, and relationships with artists, galleries, and cultural institutions.

• Mediation and dissemination. We foster encounters between artistic practices and their audiences through mediation, documentation, communication, and the circulation of projects.

Estudio C is conceived as a flexible structure that adapts to the needs of each project and builds relationships with artists, researchers, independent art spaces, universities, and cultural institutions.

Our experience within artistic contexts in Mexico and Montreal informs a practice grounded in exchange, autonomy, and the collective construction of knowledge.

Rather than defining a single way of working, we seek to create the conditions in which different ways of thinking, researching, and producing art can develop, intersect, and reach new contexts.
